The star is entirely made of heavy stainless steel with a bolted plate fastening system. The star can be adjusted in height and inclination and moved on board by the articulated support, to avoid sticking out from the hull. The motorization is hydraulic with a parallel axis gearbox with cast iron casing and a closed-centre rotary control distributor with reverse gear.
